Sierra Leone Visa
U.S. citizens need a Sierra Leone visa for entry into the country. If you are planning a trip to Sierra Leone, you must secure your travel visa at the Embassy or Mission in advance of your trip.

Submitting Your Application
After you have completed your Sierra Leone visa application form and gathered the required documentation, you can submit your application in person at the Sierra Leone Embassy in Washington, D.C. or Mission in New York or you can send your application by mail.
If you mail your application, you must send it via USPS Express Mail and include a prepaid, self-addressed envelope, so your passport can be returned to you after your visa is issued.
It usually takes three business days to process visa applications at the Embassy or two weeks at the Mission. Same day service is available at the Embassy for an additional fee of $50.00.
The cost of a one year multiple entry Sierra Leone visa is $140.00. Fees are payable by money order or cashier’s check only. Other forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards and personal checks are not accepted. All fees are non-refundable.
