Cambodia Foreign Entry Requirements
If you are planning to travel to Cambodia, it is important that you familiarize yourself with the Cambodia foreign entry requirements prior to your arrival.
If you do not meet all of the requirements, you will not be allowed to enter the country. All U.S. citizens will be fingerprinted at the airport on arrival, and they need a valid passport and visa to enter Cambodia.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Consular Affairs website, Cambodia fingerprints visitors on arrival at airports using an electronic fingerprinting system.
All U.S. citizens are required to have a passport valid for at least six months after the day they enter Cambodia to comply with Cambodia foreign entry requirements. If you do not have a passport or your current passport has been damaged or does not have the requisite amount of validity remaining, you will need to secure a new one before you arrive in Cambodia.
U.S. citizens traveling to Cambodia are required to have a visa for entry into the country. Tourist and business visas can be obtained prior to arriving in Cambodia or on arrival at the Phnom Penh and Siem Reap airports and various border checkpoints. Other types of visas must be secured before arriving in Cambodia.
When you apply for a Cambodian visa to meet the Cambodia foreign entry requirements, you will be required to complete several forms and provide a variety of supporting documents, so your application can be processed.
The exact documents you must submit can vary based on the purpose of your trip. However, below is a list of items that are commonly required to secure a Cambodian visa.
Visa application form. Be sure the form is completed accurately. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be processed, delaying the issuance of your visa and possibly your travel plans.

Applicable visa fees (All U.S. citizens are required to have a visa to enter Cambodia. However there is no processing fee for visas issued to children under the age of 12.)
Not only is a U.S. passport a Cambodia foreign entry requirement, it is also necessary to secure a Cambodian visa. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the day you enter Cambodia.

If you are not eligible to obtain your visa on arrival or you choose to secure it prior to your departure, you can apply online through the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s e-visa site (tourist visas only), in person at the Cambodian Embassy or by mail at the Cambodian Embassy.
